a tooth means removing damaged or dead nerves with narrow files, disinfecting the root canal, and filling the space in the root that is left with a rubbery material. A filling or crown is then placed on top.
During the treatment, profound local anaesthesia is administered so that the treatment is painless.
Several X-Rays may need to be taken during the root treatment.
A root filling often requires more than one visit, especially if the root is very infected.
