Dr Xu Zhang

Dr Xu Zhang qualified as a dentist from China obtaining his Bachelor of Dental Surgery Degree in 2014. He then studied for a Master’s Degree in Orthodontics in China, followed by a second Master’s Degree in Dental Science for Clinical Practice in the UK.

He subsequently went on to complete a three-year, full-time specialist orthodontic training program at the Royal London Hospital, during which he obtained a Doctorate Degree in Clinical Dentistry in Orthodontics from Queen Mary University of London, and completed the Membership in Orthodontics from the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh in 2021.

In addition to his work at the practice, he is also working as Clinic Lecturer in Orthodontics at Queen Mary University of London teaching undergraduate and postgraduate dental students in orthodontics. He also works at the Queen’s Hospital as a specialty doctor in orthodontics treating patients presenting with complex malocclusions. He is fluent in English and Chinese (Mandarin).

As a GDC registered orthodontic specialist, Dr Zhang accepts referrals for all ranges of orthodontic problems affecting adults and children. He offers a wide range of treatment options tailored to individual needs, including cosmetic ‘tooth coloured’ fixed braces, functional braces and Invisalign (clear aligner braces).
